Bonjour, I'm the artist behind Maison Motif.
I'm a Canadian pattern designer and illustrator inspired by the changing seasons. Crunchy fall leaves, crisp yet cozy winter nights, the hope that spring brings, and endless summer days spent under the hot sun. My work begins with inspiration from nature, then a simple sketch, which is then transferred to a digital design and set into a seamless repeating pattern.
I design for people who like their homes and their wardrobes to feel a little more joyful. Whether it's a quilting cotton, a roll of wallpaper or a set of note cards, I want the pattern to feel like it was made with care, because it was.
